Refund Policy

Last updated: May 18, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for paid subscriptions to the Datavtar platform ("Service"), operated by Datavtar AI Private Limited ("Datavtar," "we," "us"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Every new Datavtar subscription includes a 14-day money-back guarantee. If Datavtar is not the right fit for your organization, request a refund within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund the full amount, no questions asked. Onboarding is included with every plan — guided setup inside the product and a working session with our team — so you can confirm fit before the window closes. To request a refund, contact us at support@datavtar.com with your organization name.

3. After the 14-Day Window

After the first 14 days from your initial payment, the payment for the current billing period is non-refundable. Subsequent renewals — monthly or annual — are also non-refundable from the renewal date forward. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods beyond the 14-day guarantee window. App-credit overage charges accrued during the 14-day window are refunded together with the subscription payment if a refund is requested within that window; overage charges incurred after the window are non-refundable.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your organization's admin console. Cancellation stops all future billing — you will not be charged again. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which it ends. Cancelling does not trigger a refund for the remainder of the current period.

5. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed once for the full year. Cancelling an annual subscription stops it from renewing but does not refund the unused portion of the current year. Your access continues until the end of the paid annual term.

6. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record

Payments for Datavtar subscriptions are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), which acts as the Merchant of Record — the authorized reseller — for the sale. Your invoice and card statement reflect Paddle as the merchant. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to your purchase in addition to this policy, and Paddle may, at its discretion, issue a refund under its buyer-protection policy independently of the terms above.

7. Billing Errors

This policy does not limit corrections for a genuine billing error — for example, a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount, or a charge made after a valid cancellation. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us and we will investigate and correct any verified error.

8. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects any non-waivable rights you may have under the laws applicable to you. Where mandatory law grants a right that conflicts with this policy, that law prevails.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to subscribed organizations, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
